I painted this for, and dedicated it to my son-in-law – a very successful farmer. I saw these cotton harvesters outside of Luling and it captured what I thought would be interesting to him – the red color of the harvesters and the vintage time of the 1930’s – a reminder of a day on the farm in days past.
